Kansas Grants
The U.S. Dept of Energy has confirmed that "USED wind turbines that were originally manufactured in foreign countries, but have been RE-MANUFACTURED in the United States, may be used in projects applying for funds from our Renewable Energy Incentives Grant program."

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU:
This means that RSI WIND's VESTAS units that are Re-manufactured in the United States are 100% eligible to be funded with Renewable Energy Incentives.
Renewable Energy Incentives Grant
This new program was created using $3.8 million in federal funds received from the Department of Energy as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
It is designed to promote the use of renewable energy in the public sector by offering grants to cover up to 25 percent of the costs (not to exceed $250,000) of developing, implementing, and installing a renewable energy source:
- wind
- solar
- biomass
- geothermal, or
- hydropower
